We are happy to confirm the three racetracks that will be part of the 2017 Modena Cento Ore challenge.
While Misano and Mugello have been confirmed, the third circuit will be Magione.
Imola couldn’t confirm its availability, even though our booking request was sent last August, due to contractual restrictions that force them to give priority to the concert traditionally held at the beginning of June. We are sad to announce that this year, instead of the Cento Ore’s racing jewels, the racetrack named after the great Enzo Ferrari will offer its visitors a Guns N’ Roses concert.
We tried our best to reach an agreement with the racetrack management that would allow both events to take place, but it was all in vain.
All we can do is deplore the awful choice made by the racetrack management, who probably forgot the reasons behind its creation and the choice of its glorious name.
Nevertheless, the good news is that the second leg of the race will treat the participants to some of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy. There will also be two amazing, long and challenging special stages through the vineyards and woods of Tuscany. A coffee break in Arezzo will also give us the chance to take a memorable postcard in the breath-taking medieval square of the city.
